Pullman Hosts a Celebration of Italian Wine with Italasia

Co., Ltd. is one of Thailand’s leading importers and distributors of premium wines, spirits, and beverages. Established in 1960 and headquartered in Bangkok, the company has played a significant role in shaping Thailand’s modern wine culture.
It was therefore a pleasure
for Discover Pattaya, together with representatives from some of Pattaya’s finest hotels and dining establishments, to be invited to an exclusive wine tasting event at the Pullman.
As always, the Pullman proved to be an exceptional host, providing a steady stream of delicious canapés — perfect “soakage” for guests sampling an impressive selection of wines (with very few opting for the spittoon!).
Adding to the occasion were several owners from renowned Italian vineyards, long-standing partners of Italasia. Their presentation, accompanied by an engaging PowerPoint, offered fascinating insight into generations of family winemaking traditions and the passion behind wines now enjoyed around the world.
Naturally, we couldn’t resist presenting them with a copy of our magazine to enjoy on their flight home. The event concluded with a raffle drawn from business cards given in at registration — and the prizes? Fine bottles of wine of course.
