A Decade of Excellence
Since opening in 2017, Rugby
School Thailand (RST) has set the benchmark for outstanding international education in the region. Nowhere is this more evident than in its Pre-Prep, where the youngest learners take their very first steps into school life.
EXPERT CARE FROM EXPERIENCED EDUCATORS RST’s Pre-Prep team brings together decades of collective experience in early years education. Many of the teachers have taught in leading international schools worldwide, combining global best practice with a deep understanding of child development. Every class benefits from low teacher-to-student ratios, ensuring children receive the attention, encouragement and guidance they need; plus there are specialist teachers for PE, swimming, languages, library sessions and music from age two. The expertise of the staff here is matched by their warmth and commitment to nurturing every child.
TRIED AND TRUSTED It is evident that RST has perfected a daily rhythm that helps children feel safe, engaged and inspired. Days are carefully structured to balance guided learning, imaginative play and outdoor exploration. Half-day and full-day options allow families to choose what best suits their child, with full-day students enjoying nutritious meals, nap times and extended enrichment opportunities.
SMOOTH TRANSITIONS Starting school is a big step for children and parents alike. RST has developed a thoughtful transition process for welcoming new families.
Teachers work closely with parents to help each child settle in happily, building trust and confidence from day one, while also supporting parents to feel part of the community.
A CURRICULUM WITH LASTING IMPACT The school follows a British curriculum. From Pre-Nursery to Key Stage 1, this is play-based and enquiry-led, proven to give children the strongest foundations for lifelong learning. Literacy, numeracy, creativity and social-emotional growth are woven into meaningful activities. There is even a new Forest School; an amazing outdoor classroom to cater for different learning styles.

PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS RST’s reputation has been built on strong relationships with families. Teachers communicate openly through regular meetings and digital platforms, and parents are invited to be active participants in their child’s learning journey, through talks, coffee mornings, clubs and classroom involvement.
SAFE, HEALTHY AND HAPPY Safety and wellbeing underpin everything; the pastoral care is excellent and all staff have regular first-aid and safeguarding training. The secure campus and child-friendly facilities are maintained to the highest standards, with rigorous hygiene and nutrition protocols. From healthy eating habits to handwashing routines, children learn to care for themselves and others in an environment designed to protect and support them.
After almost a decade of success, Rugby School Thailand’s Pre-Prep continues to deliver on its promise: expert care, proven experience and a joyful start to education that prepares children not just for school, but for life.
