Location wise, Fraser’s is situated between some of the finest restaurants in Pattaya/Jomtien (Bruno’s, Gian’s and Indian by Nature), on Thappraya Road and just around the corner from Jomtien bus station (the one that takes you to the airport) so if you have some spare time before you leave, or have just arrived, Fraser’s should be your first and last port of call for a bite to eat and drink. Opening hours are from 8am to Midnight.

If you’re in that area in May then a date for your diary must be Friday the 27th – why? On that date Fraser’s Sports Bar & Family Restaurant celebrates it’s ‘Second Birthday’ and in just two years the brainchild from one of Pattaya’s most colorful and well respected characters, Aussie Stewart “Froggy” Fraser has become the No1 Sports Bar in Jomtien.

“I made Fraser’s in memory of my mum (Dotty) and dad (Norm), who first introduced me to the joys of pub-life, my mum worked in the kitchens and my dad drank out front” said Froggy. “I wanted to create a sports bar where everyone was welcome, including families with children and I can honestly say I have achieved that aim”.

I can assure you that Fraser’s is no ordinary Sports Bar because for one of the best family-friendly pub atmospheres in Pattaya, it takes some beating. The pub was created with families in mind and welcomes children with open arms – there is a large kid’s playhouse (fully supervised) separated from the main drinking area in Dotty’s play room.

Fraser’s is famous for showcasing live sporting events from all over the world, it’s the sports bar for all sports fans with all English Premier League games, AFL, NRL, Rugby Union, Golf, Tennis, Cricket, UFC, F1, NFL, MotoGP, Boxing and any other sport you can think of being shown live on one of the large 12 TV screens.

One of the unique features at Fraser’s is the 5 private dining booths, each with its own small TV screen that allows you to watch any sporting event in private – also if you choose, you can sit outside on the open terrace overlooking Thappraya Road, just relax and watch the world go by.

Their food menu consists of gut filling breakfasts, pizzas/pasta, seafood, meat dishes, gourmet sandwiches, Thai food as well as daily specials. Some of the favorite dishes include; Australian Wagyu Steak, Beer Battered Pacific Dory, New Zealand Lamb Chops and Chicken Parmigiana. Stewart confided in me that on average they serve around 200 covers a day, so you see what I mean about this being no ordinary sports bar.

The drinks menu is as extensive as the food one, with a choice of draught beer that includes Stella Artois, Heineken, Tiger, Magners and Guinness. From 4pm to 7pm everyday Fraser’s have an ‘Happy Hour’ on all their draught beers, this along with its ‘All Day 2-4-1’ cocktails and ‘Beer Bucket’ specials give you an amazing value for money drinks deal.

At Fraser’s, they have many daily food specials and theme nights which are not only fun but also give you the chance to receive something back from Stewart. Their logo is a ‘Frog’ (guess why) called ‘Ribbit’ (think about it), Ribbits are special tokens at Fraser’s and are used for various promotions throughout the week, if you win any then one Ribbit = One Free Drink.

What about a home-cooked roast dinner every day? Dotty’s Home Cooked Roast for 6-8 people is available every day of the week at Fraser’s, just give Stewart a days’ notice and he will arrange it all for you. You have a choice of Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Turkey or Pork; served with all the trimmings and if you can’t finish it all they will let you take home the leftovers.

If you live in the Jomtien area and don’t fancy turning out, Fraser’s also have a FREE home delivery service between10am and 10pm, just call 038 251 560 and order your food.

In this day and age the only way to keep your customers fully updated with what’s happening is through social media sites. Fraser’s is no exception to this and has an extremely active Website and Facebook page –the former giving you a comprehensive and up-to-date look at everything Fraser’s, whilst the latter tells you all the daily happenings at the pub. The addresses of these two media links can be found at the bottom of the page.

As the expression goes “You are only as good as the sum of your parts” and Fraser’s takes the best aspects of live sport, a buzzing atmosphere, a family-friendly attitude and combines them with excellent food and drink at value for money prices. I suppose the best way to describe Frasers would be a friendly locals sports bar that welcomes all visitors. So all in all, if you’re single, a couple, a group or a family, Fraser’s is a place you should visit and try out. You never know perhaps you’ll become a regular.

Fraser's offers all it's patrons free WiFi, plus also there is also accommodation available at the rear of the building details are available on the website.
