Daily national property news, online.
Thailand-Property.com, a relatively new real estate portal (June 2013), launched a digital news publication in mid-February, providing a new place for interested readers and site users to find daily updated information on Thailand’s real estate market.
The news page, updated daily with reports on current events, market insights, reports and projections, and related national news is aimed at making Thailand-Property.com establish itself as an online source of quality information about the real estate market.
The company is currently working with reputable, well established and well published property agencies such as Jones Lang LaSalle, CBRE and Knight Frank to ensure information published is not only accurate but as dynamic in the field as possible, providing news that is relevant to all of the different user groups frequenting the website. Current user groups primarily include industry professionals, real estate agents and home seekers, but the news page is now expected to attract new users who are simply interested in learning about the market in general.
“Our close relationships with many of the major industry-news agencies provide us with the resources we need to offer a comprehensive overview about the market on a daily basis to our readership,” Thailand-Property.com’s director, Neil Sutton said. “Our goal is for anyone who is interested in Thailand’s real estate market to use our news page as their first source of information.”
The news page is organized in a way that will allow readers to quickly find the information most relevant to them, with articles categorized by major markets (including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Samui, Hua Hin, etc.), regions, and news types. Readers who are only interested in a general overview of the market can check the news page every Friday for a weekly real estate roundup, summarizing the week’s most important news. This weekly roundup is also directly disseminated to email subscribers of Thailand-Property.com’s newsletter.
Daily articles on the news page will be supplied by the company’s in-house team of professional writers, who are also responsible for creating the content published on the company’s lifestyle blog, which is targeted more toward home seekers and expatriates in Thailand rather than industry professionals. Pattaya Money Expo deemed a winner
The Pattaya Money Expo 2014, held between 7 and 9 February at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, resulted in the highest number of loans in the past four years, according to The Nation newspaper.
The expo is claimed to be the largest local and regional event connecting SME’s, investors and consumers to a raft of financial service providers and resources. It is suggested more than 30,000 people visited the expo over the three days.
Of these, around 17,000 applied for financial and investment services from banks, financial institutions, asset management firms and insurance companies with a substantial 17 billion baht written in loans. Most of the loans were for buying houses with about 4,500 customers applying for a home loan. That ate up 12 billion of the 17 billion baht. Loans for SME’s totalled around two billion baht.
