As the chequered flag falls on another year it’s time to reflect on the last 12 months for TR-Motorsport.

After our invincible season in 2015 we knew 2016 would not be as easy as we stepped up a league into the Thailand Super Series Super Production Class. Although we battled hard throughout the early parts of the season second place in the championship is now all we can hope for as we head to the postponed final race in Bang Saen in February. Reliability issues once again reared their head as we lost vital points early on, however, when everything did work we were setting faster lap times than the eventual series winner Hideharu Kuroki. TR-Motorsport would like to congratulate Hideharu on his perfect season although at times we were faster and right behind him we couldn’t manage to overtake and beat him to the line. He has won every race so far, the sign of a great driver and a great team and we look forward to the final challenge of the season in Bang Saen!
2017 promises to be a defining moment in the history of TR-Motorsport as we sadly say goodbye to the ‘Blue Blur’ Honda City but welcome a brand new Porsche 997 Generation 1 to the team! No, you are not reading this wrong, the time has come for our Danish Dynamo Thomas Raldorf to mix it with the big boys of Motorsport in Thailand. After months of lengthy negotiations we are very proud and pleased to announce that for 2017 we will be competing in the Thailand Super Series Supercar GTC Class. Thomas will get the chance to compete against some of the fastest cars in the Kingdom. The new Porsche was on display at the recent Movers & Shakers event held in Pattaya, and proved quite popular with the guests. More details about the 2017 season and the upcoming press conference and car launch will be printed here in the coming weeks.
Of course all the above is not possible without the gracious support of our sponsors, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our main sponsor ContiX and our other sponsors, Singha Corporation, CEA Project Logistics, Inspire Pattaya, Haven Consultants, Lenso Wheels, PFC Brakes, Global Insurance and Jameson’s Pattaya. We would also like to thank all our volunteers who give up their personal time to help throughout the season, and last but not least a big thank you to all our fans, friends and followers around the world who have supported us, we hope you will continue to do so in 2017 and beyond.
From all at TR-Motorsport we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
TR-Motorsport will next be in action at the Bang Saen Festival of Speed / Thailand Super Series - February 24th – 26th 2017
